All Hallows' Eve

It's that day again. The time of the year when small children go out to gather candy and have fun, and college students cram themselves into packed houses to get drunk and annoy their neighbors who have a midterm the next day. Listen to me, sounding like a bitter old man. 

Halloween has a long and rich history, but I don't think anybody cares too much about it anymore, so for the purposes of this article, we can just think of Halloween at the day that Thanksgiving and Christmas sales start. Because I can't really ever focus on a single project at a given time, I started another one which I'll give you a sample of today. It's conveniently fitting, so here you go.
