Backpacking

Life in the Clouds

This was taken on a very poorly planned backpacking trip that I took a couple of winters ago. We planned it approximately two days before we left, we arrived so late on the first day that we were ultimately unable to complete our planned route, it was raining nearly the whole time, and there were feral pigs that roamed around our tents at night.

It was a lot of fun.

Taken while backpacking in the Ventana Wilderness, near Big Sur in California. Yes, he's peeing.

You might have noticed that I've added a size option for prints as well as made the pricing scheme more reasonable/more (or perhaps less) sustainable.

You'll also notice below that I've added a new email subscription option. This is because I'm struggling to get people to actually see my content because Facebook, my primary means of sharing new posts only shows the posts to ~10% of my page followers on a good day so I'm trying new methods of outreach. I recommend that you add your email to the list to receive friendly (and poorly designed) updates for new blog posts!

Chilling in the Desert

Oddly enough, I never included this one in my original upload of photos from Death Valley, so here it is now. This was shot at the Eureka Dunes in Death Valley National Park.

They look pretty soft and easy to climb, don't they. They aren't.

Additionally, I made a 500px account today. I don't know if any of you are on there, but if you are stop by and "like" a photo, and if you aren't a member, stop by anyway and appreciate all of the pretty pictures! In addition to my lovely photos, you can see all sorts of other amazing pictures taken by incredibly talented people. Just click the picture below, and you'll be taken to my page over there. What sorcery!
